What is Safety Patrol?
Safety Patrol is a leadership opportunity for all 4th and 5th grade students at Summit Hill. Students help promote safety, responsibility, and school pride by assisting with morning arrival and afternoon dismissal routines.
How It Works:
- 🏫 Open to All 4th & 5th Grade Students While not an elected position, Safety Patrol is a valued leadership role
- 🔄 Rotating Schedule: Every student will have a chance to serve during the school year
- 🎓 Leadership in Action: Students learn responsibility, teamwork, and communication skills
Duties May Include:
- Helping younger students exit cars safely
- Assisting with hallway transitions
- Supporting staff during arrival/dismissal
- Modeling respectful and responsible behavior
