Welcome to Summit Hill Elementary – Home of the Huskies!

Dear Summit Hill Families,

It is with great excitement that I welcome you to a new school year at Summit Hill Elementary! Whether you are a returning family or joining us for the first time, we are thrilled to have you as part of our vibrant and caring community.

I am honored to serve as your principal and proud to lead a school where we Strive to Help and Excel in all we do. As a parent myself, I deeply value the importance of a strong partnership between home and school. Together, we can create the best possible environment for our children to grow, learn, and thrive.

At Summit Hill, our dedicated staff is committed to nurturing every student’s academic and personal success. We encourage our Huskies to be PAW Proud—Proactive, Accountable, and Willing to Lead—values that guide our students in becoming confident and compassionate leaders.

We are also fortunate to have an incredibly supportive PTO that brings our school to life through enriching programs and memorable events. From Discovery Zone Science Labs and Watchdog Dads, to Back to School Night, Bingo & Baskets, Trunk or Treat, and more, their efforts help create a joyful and engaging school experience. They also generously support our teachers with classroom resources and monthly staff luncheons.

Our School Governance Council plays a vital role in shaping the future of Summit Hill. Thanks to their leadership, we’ve made exciting enhancements to our campus, including updated signage, a new sound system, and the addition of 3D printers in the Media Center—ensuring our students have access to innovative tools and a modern learning environment.

As I begin my first full year as your principal, I look forward to building strong relationships with each of you. My commitment is to foster open communication, ensure a safe and inclusive school culture, and support every child’s journey with care and purpose.
